Greg was born and raised in Plano, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.  After high school Greg attended the University of Missouri at Columbia.  While at “Mizzou” Greg was able to study abroad at the University of Western Syndney.  In only three years, Greg graduated with a double major (Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts & Science in Political Science).

Greg decided to chase his childhood dream of becoming an attorney and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 2007.  While in law school Greg served his classmates as a second and third-year class representative on the Student Bar Association, and also got the unique opportunity to participate in two summer study aboard programs: (1) St. Edmunds College at Oxford University, and (2) Peking University in Beijing, China.  Unsatisfied, Greg continued his legal education at University of Missouri at Kansas City by obtaining a LL.M. in Taxation.

After law school, Greg then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, to work in the compliance department for a Trust company that specialized in self-directing Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs).  In 2011, Greg was admitted to the North Carolina bar and joined Shipman and Wright, LLP.  Greg currently handles areas in Taxation, Business Organization and Management, Estate Planning, Elder Law and Probate.
