Angel was born in Germany while her father was stationed overseas serving in the United States Marine Corps and spent her childhood in North Carolina, California, Ohio and Virginia. After spending twelve years as a paralegal in New Bern and Wilmington, Angel left Shipman & Wright, LLP to attend Campbell University where she obtained her law degree in 2005. After graduation, she returned to Shipman & Wright, LLP and continued with her legal career focusing her practice in the areas of Complex Commercial Litigation, Consumer Class Actions and Construction Litigation, then expanded into the areas of Trusts and Estates, Business Organization and Contract Law.
