From his desk at Maersk, the world’s largest international shipping company, Kyle Nutt could count on a successful career in accounting and finance.  But the practice of law, with its daily challenges, beckoned the Wilmington native.

A 2006 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with an accounting degree from the Belk College of Business, Kyle entered the Charlotte School of Law in 2008, where he became the senior articles editor for the Law Review and was inducted into the school’s scholastic leadership society, the Order of the Crown.

Kyle also interned at the North Carolina Business Court for the Honorable Albert Diaz, who now sits on the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, and worked pro-bono to help defrauded home purchasers. Kyle graduated magna cum laude and was the Fall 2011 Valedictorian.

Kyle’s practice includes medical negligence, personal injury, business litigation, employment law, and bankruptcy.
